I’ll update this page as the blog takes shape, but for now I expect that Mama Loves Coffee will function much like Bill White’s Summa Minutiae: as a collecting ground for the interesting, appealing, or – occasionally – appalling, with news and opinions of my own thrown in from time to time.  I don’t honestly expect anyone else to find my opinions particularly appealing or useful, and part of my aim is to correct my tendency to focus only on the negative despite my overall contentedness.  If you don’t enjoy participating in other people’s psychology experiments, you might want to move along.
